TALARIA WARRANTY
Every new Talaria is backed by a manufacturer-backed limited warranty and looked after by our UK team, with genuine parts held in the UK. Here's exactly what's covered — and how to claim if you ever need to.
What your cover includes
Because Talaria UK (Llexeter Ltd) is the largest official UK distributor, warranty support is handled in-country — no importing parts or waiting on overseas shipping.
- What is covered
- Defects in materials and manufacturing under normal use for the warranty period — including the motor, controller and frame — as set out in your model documentation.
- Battery
- The battery carries its own limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Gradual capacity loss over time and through normal charging is expected and is not a fault.
- Junior bikes
- Our junior models — the JR-12 and JR-16 — are covered by a 12-month parts warranty and a 6-month battery warranty.
- What is not covered
- Wear-and-tear items (tyres, brake pads, chains, sprockets, grips), accident or misuse, competition or commercial use, unauthorised modification, water ingress beyond the rating, and improper charging or storage.
- Genuine parts
- Cover is maintained by fitting genuine Talaria parts, available from our Parts Shop with model-specific fitment. Non-genuine parts may void your warranty.
- How to claim
- Contact our UK team with your order reference and a description (plus photos or video where relevant). We diagnose and arrange a repair or genuine-part replacement — no importing, no overseas waits.
Keeping your bike healthy protects both performance and cover — see our maintenance & battery care guide, and buy genuine spares from the Talaria Parts Shop.
Warranty FAQs
Does a Talaria come with a warranty in the UK?
Yes. Every new Talaria bought from Talaria UK is covered by a manufacturer-backed limited warranty against material and manufacturing defects under normal use, supported by our UK team and genuine parts. Specific periods and exclusions are set out in your model documentation.
What warranty do the junior bikes have?
The Talaria JR-12 and JR-16 junior bikes are covered by a 12-month parts warranty and a 6-month battery warranty.
Is the battery covered by warranty?
Yes — the battery has its own limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Gradual capacity loss through normal use and charging over time is expected and is not treated as a fault. Good charging habits protect long-term capacity; see our maintenance guide.
What voids a Talaria warranty?
Cover can be affected by accident or misuse, competition or commercial use, unauthorised modification, water ingress beyond the rating, improper charging or storage, and fitting non-genuine parts. Wear-and-tear items such as tyres, pads, chains and grips are not covered.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact our UK team with your order reference and a description of the issue, plus photos or video if relevant. Because Talaria UK is the official UK distributor, we diagnose and arrange a repair or genuine-part replacement directly, without importing parts from overseas.
Does using non-genuine parts affect my warranty?
Yes. Warranty is maintained by using genuine Talaria parts with correct model fitment. Non-genuine parts can affect road-legal status and may void cover, so we recommend buying spares from the Talaria UK Parts Shop.
